Villa Hispana Stage, Dining Pavilion and General Renovation. DWL·NM has provided design services for several phases at Villa Hispana, Expo New Mexico. The original facility began in 1972 with four buildings that roughly defined the beginning of a Hispanic village concept. To give the village stronger character and identity, DWL·NM has developed phased components to strengthen the overall visual identification of the village and provide an environment for fun, dining, performance and public interaction. Components of the village rebirth concepts include: Master Plan,  Entrance Archway and Tower, Gate to conceal Service Driveway, Dining Pavilion, Improvements to Food/Retail Vendors, Performance Stage for multi-venue activities, Refurbish other buildings in the village. The resultant renovations and additions have given the village a new sense of cultural identity and pride.
