Moriarty Elementary School, Phase I and II was mastered planned to provide for grades K-5 and to accommodate community meetings, gatherings and physical activities. The school was planned so Library, Multipurpose Gym/Cafeteria and Restroom facilities would be accessible to the neighborhood after hours. Classrooms are grouped in four pod clusters around a common entry pavilion. The goal for the clusters is to encourage a sense of classroom neighborhood and teacher/student cross interaction. Special color-coding allows students to easily identify their neighborhood cluster. The surrounding neighborhood uses the Multipurpose Gym/Cafeteria and Library extensively for various physical and community activities.
